Blockage clearance

Bird nest removal

£125 first hour · £30 / 30 min

A jackdaw can fill a chimney with twigs in a fortnight — and a blocked flue puts smoke, fumes and carbon monoxide in your room. This is careful, legal work: nests come out only when inactive and outside the protected nesting season, roughly September to February.

Some problems can't be diagnosed from the hearth. A high-definition camera travels the full length of the flue and shows exactly what's happening up there — cracked liners, failed joints, hidden blockages, or the reassurance that everything is sound.

Cowls & bird guards

The cheapest way to deal with nests, rain and downdraught is to stop them getting in at all. Dan supplies and fits the right cowl for your flue and fuel type — not simply whatever happens to be on the van.
